A click of the mouse is all it takes these days to commit a crime with limits as large and vast as cyberspace. And no one is immune from falling victim to it -- from everyday hard-working law abiding citizens, to large banking institutions and corporations. Identity Theft is spreading as fast as a computer virus -- and infecting our lives with a whole new breed of crime. Criminals are stealing identities, credit card numbers, banking and investment information and social security numbers in order to steal money to fund drug use, abuse and trafficking.

And that’s not the only drug-related crime that’s seeping into cyberspace. Ordering drugs on the internet – from prescription medication to marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy to recipes on how to cook your own methamphetamine, illegally buying and distributing Drugs on the Internet is a problem that is also a serious rising crime. Sometimes the drugs are ordered one day and delivered the next right to the doorstep via overnight delivery! This one-hour training broadcast will explore how it’s happening, how you can protect yourself from being a victim of it and how law enforcement is fighting it.
