Program Abstract: Seeking and receiving treatment services can be a difficult process for anyone struggling with addiction. When compounded with being arrested and entering the justice system, this difficult process can become truly mystifying. This program will explore addiction treatment services and interventions at each segment of the justice system. The sectors covered by this show include: community policing, points of arrests, initial interventions for first-time offense, drug courts, responses to relapse, prison services, and services regarding reentry into society.
