National Problem Gambling Awareness Week (March 6-12)
The National Council of Problem Gambling (NCPG) and the Association of Problem Gambling Service Administrators (APGSA) are pleased to present Problem Gambling Awareness 2006, a grassroots public awareness and outreach campaign. It will kick off during National Problem Gambling Awareness Week to be held on March 6-12, 2006. The goal of this campaign is to educate the general public and health care professionals about the warning signs of problem gambling and raise awareness about the help that is available both locally and nationally.
The Problem Gambling Resources Kit (Inventory Number PGKIT) provides specific guidance for counselors who may have a client with a gambling problem. The toolkit is a shrink-wrapped package that consists of:
